Scope
Aims and Scope: Integrative Biomedical Research is an, international, peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes research articles on all aspects of biomedical, medicine, public health, disease mechanisms, health Interventions, clinical & translational research, molecular biology, drug delivery, drug discovery, natural sciences, medical research, engineering, biochemistry and integrative biological sciences in a continuous publication schedule.
(N.B. The journal was previously published under the title Journal of Angiotherapy.)
Integrative Biomedical Research is advancing scientific understanding of fundamental, interrelated biomedical technology central to human health, disease, and therapeutic innovation. The journal embraces a broad, integrative biomedical scope, publishing original research, clinical studies, and reviews that explore metabolic disorders, reproductive dysfunction, oncology, endocrinology, immunology, regenerative medicine, and neurovascular science. JoA particularly welcomes interdisciplinary, translational, and systems-based approaches in biomedical and medicine sciences. This includes all aspects of drug discovery, pharmacological screening, biomarker development, clinical trial outcomes, and health interventions targeting all domains of pharmacological and biological aspects. Studies investigating indirect or systemic outcomes (e.g., hormonal regulation, tissue growth, translational outcome, integrative biomedical applications or developmental health) and any pharmacological relevance.
In alignment with publishing standards practiced by multidisciplinary journals, Integrative Biomedical Research supports a squared-scope model that encourages biologically coherent, application-oriented research—even when the primary disease model or intervention. By doing so, the journal fosters cross-disciplinary insight and contributes meaningfully to integrative biomedical sciences, evidence-based medicine, public-health and integrative applications.
In addition, as a multidisciplinary platform, JoA bridges various fields of biomedical, natural sciences, medical research, engineering and biological sciences, offering a comprehensive exploration of mechanisms and interventions. JoA serves as a dynamic platform for researchers, clinicians, and scientists to explore the complexities of inflammation, diseases, and health interventions.
Integrative Biomedical Research welcomes the submission of original research articles, reviews, data reports, case studies, clinical trials, and brief communications that present significant, novel findings and advance knowledge within the realm of integartive biomedical research areas.
All accepted manuscripts are published continuously and made freely available online immediately upon publication. This open-access model ensures unrestricted access to research, facilitating widespread dissemination and engagement within the scientific community.
Integrative Biomedical Research is committed to being a valuable resource for researchers, scientists, and clinicians aiming to expand the boundaries of knowledge in integrative fields.
Peer-Review Process (please see detials in peer review policy and publishing policies)
The journal is committed to publishing research works by utilizing a rapid, impartial, and rigorous review process. All submitted papers are subjected to strict single-blind peer review by its distinguished international Advisory Board members, as well as by other anonymous international and national reviewers. Submitted manuscripts must not have been published previously in any copyright form (print or electronic/online).
