Open Access (OA) ensures free, immediate, and unrestricted online access to scholarly research worldwide, allowing anyone to read, share, and reuse published articles. As a Gold Open Access publisher, Eman Research covers all publishing costs through Article Processing Charges (APCs). Articles accepted after rigorous peer review incur a publication fee charged to authors, institutions, or funders.
Why Gold Open Access?
Eman Research Publishing supports Gold Open Access to maximize the reach and impact of authors’ work by providing unrestricted access to research. All OA articles undergo the same strict peer review process as subscription-based content, ensuring consistent quality.
Gold Open Access Options
Publishing and peer review incur costs that subscription fees do not cover for OA content. To sustain publishing, we charge Open Access fees as follows:
1. Author Publication Fees
Authors may choose to publish under Gold Open Access by paying an APC. Eligible journals display an ‘Open Access’ link in the ‘For Authors’ section. The APC is USD $250 per article and is separate from other charges such as color figures or reprints.
2. Society-Sponsored Open Access
Some partner societies sponsor Open Access for a portion of their journal content. The journal subscription price reflects only the content not published OA.
3. Sponsored Issues or Content
Occasionally, an external organization sponsors OA for entire issues or selected articles.

Gold Open Access articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license

- Free worldwide reading without subscription
- Sharing, copying, and redistribution in any medium or format
- Upload to personal, institutional, or public repositories with proper attribution
- Inclusion in all electronic and print journal formats

License Options and Policies
Eman Research offers a choice of Creative Commons licenses depending on the journal. Please consult the journal’s homepage for specifics. Accepted manuscripts can be self-archived (“Green Open Access”) with a CC BY-NC-ND license following our sharing guidelines.

Fee Waivers and Support
We are committed to supporting authors who face financial barriers to publication. Options include:
- Institutional Memberships: Many institutions and funders have agreements with Eman Research to cover APCs. Check if your institution participates.
- Fee Waiver Program: Authors without funding may apply for full or partial waivers by completing our online Waiver Application before or immediately after submission. Allow up to two weeks for review. Waiver applications are confidential and do not influence editorial decisions.
- Funding Resources: Additional OA funding sources are listed on the Open Access Directory.
Article Types
The journal supports diverse article formats to serve various academic needs:
- A-Type: Original Research, Clinical Trial, Methods, Review, Systematic Review, Protocols, Technology/Code
- B-Type: Brief Reports, Case Studies, Mini Reviews, Perspectives, Policy Briefs
- C-Type: Data Reports, Commentaries, Opinions
- D-Type: Editorials, Corrections, Book Reviews, Challenges, Young Minds Concepts
APC Payment Process
- A pro forma invoice is provided upon manuscript submission for transparency.
- A final invoice is issued only if the article is accepted for publication.
- APC payment is due within 30 days of the final invoice date.
- Fees and discounts apply to manuscripts submitted on or after January 2019 and may be revised periodically.
