Abstract
Technology has become an indispensable tool in addressing challenges within both healthcare and sustainable tourism. The convergence of digital health innovations and eco-conscious travel solutions has reshaped industry landscapes, offering efficiency, accessibility, and long-term sustainability. In healthcare, advancements such as telemedicine, artificial intelligence (AI), wearable health monitors, and blockchain for patient records have transformed service delivery. These technologies enhance diagnostics, improve patient outcomes, and promote global healthcare equity. Simultaneously, sustainable tourism has evolved with the aid of smart destination management, eco-friendly transport, and digital engagement tools, mitigating environmental impacts while enriching traveler experiences. However, these advancements are not without challenges, including data privacy concerns, technological accessibility disparities, and ecological burdens associated with digital infrastructure expansion. The present review explores the intersection of technology-driven healthcare and sustainable tourism, emphasizing their shared potential to foster resilience, economic stability, and improved quality of life. The discussion is structured into four key subtopics: digital health innovations, eco-friendly travel solutions, the role of AI in both industries, and the challenges in implementing technology-driven solutions. By critically analyzing recent developments and providing data-driven insights, this article underscores the need for adaptive policies, interdisciplinary collaboration, and responsible innovation to ensure that technological advancements serve both human well-being and environmental sustainability.
